On Saturday 27 September 2008 a very special Art Bus will explore creativity and culture in Portsmouth and Southsea. The bus will take in some of the events and activities that have been specially organised for the Cultural Olympiad launch weekend - and some art in unusual places...

Route is not just an opportunity to see and experience some of the more innovative, contemporary art and culture in Portsmouth - passengers will enjoy a party atmosphere and the chance to experience the event with fellow artists, art lovers, explorers and cultural tourists. Art Bus passengers will be guided by the artists themselves around spaces that are not always accessible to the public, and through spaces that have been especially appropriated and adapted for the event.

The Greenhouse Kitchen is supporting local textile artist, Freya Perry, by providing exhibition space as one of the Art Route Dream stops. Art Bus tickets are free, but booking is advisable.
