Following more than eight weeks of decoration, inside and out, the Greenhouse Kitchen opened at 10am on the 24th May 2008. The premises at 59 Marmion Road had been completely redecorated for the launch, with new colours, a revised layout and a menu fully approved by the Vegetarian Society.

Since the opening, The Greenhouse Kitchen has become a popular meeting place for many local people, with many returning again and again to try the carrot cake and smoothies.
